OsloMet – storbyuniversitetet er landets tredje største universitet, med over 20 000 studenter og mer enn 2000 ansatte. OsloMet leverer kunnskap og yrkesutøvere samfunnet er avhengig av, og er tett på arbeidslivets behov. Fakultetet tilbyr høyere utdanning innen tekniske fag, kunstfag og designfag, og har forsknings- og utviklingsaktiviteter innen disse fagfeltene. Fakultet for teknologi, kunst og design (TKD) har om lag 3 000 studenter og om lag 280 ansatte, og holder til i Pilestredet i Oslo sentrum og på Kjeller utenfor Lillestrøm.

Institutt for informasjonsteknologi tilbyr tre bachelorstudier, et masterstudium og er delaktig i et tverrfaglig doktorgradsstudium. Vitenskapelige ansatte ved instituttet forsker innen et bredt spekter av fagområder, inkludert informatikk, naturvitenskap, innovasjon og ledelse. Studenter og forskere er også involvert i et økende antall tverrfaglige aktiviteter ved universitetet.

Do you want to make a difference and contribute with academic support to other students?

The students' academic and social study situation has been greatly affected by the pandemic. Most of the teaching has been digital for a long time and the campus has been occasionally closed. All faculties at OsloMet now employ students as part of the Student Package as an initiative from the Ministry of Education. The students will work with academic follow-up of fellow students. The initiative will function as a contribution to good learning outcomes, learning environment and study progression for students at OsloMet. We encourage committed students to contribute to this important work.

Your tasks will mainly be

The student assistant shall plan and initiate activities for academic follow-up of other students and shall work with:

• Administrative support to the EQUALS-EU P1/OsloMet Project Management Team
• Social Media management
• Minute taking
• Partner coordination

The work is expected to require:

60 hours per month in the period 1st of August to 15th of December

We are looking for the following qualifications

• You must be a registered student when you apply and during the period the position
• You have good communication skills in a Scandinavian language or English
• You have good digital competence and experience with digital meeting tools
• Personal suitability, professional qualifications and academic achievements will be emphasized.

Please note that you as a student assistant at OsloMet cannot have contracts that in total exceed 37.5 percent of positions, corresponding to 15 hours a week on average.
