Centre for Molecular Medicine Norway (NCMM) was established in 2008 and is the Norwegian node in the Nordic EMBL Partnership for Molecular Medicine. NCMM is a joint venture between the University of Oslo, Health Region South-East and the Research Council of Norway. From 2017 NCMM is merged with the Biotechnology Centre of Oslo and now has altogether 11 research groups. The overall objective of NCMM is to conduct cutting edge research in molecular medicine and biotechnology as well as facilitate translation of discoveries in basic medical research into clinical practice.
About the position
Join the Centre for Molecular Medicine Norway (NCMM) in a pivotal role as Senior Executive Officer (SKO 1363) or Adviser (SKO1434), determined by your experience and background. This permanent, externally funded position is crucial for our day-to-day operations.
Who should apply

Work tasks
Serve as Personal Assistant to the Director and Associate Director and provide administrative support to their research groups.
Organize and facilitate research events, PhD defences, and courses.
Organize and facilitate visits of the international guests to NCMM
Contribute to annual reports.
Coordinate projects and handle various inquiries.
Qualification requirements
Relevant university education, with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree. A Master’s degree is desirable. Other qualifications can compensate the requirement for formal education.
Experience in an international environment is a plus.
Strong communication skills are required in English.
Norwegian language is an advantage.
Familiarity with UiO systems (e.g., Basware, ePhorte, Cristin) is beneficial.

Salary NOK 557 100-615 700 per annum by individual assessment, depending on qualifications in a position as Senior Executive Officer (SKO1363), and NOK 584 500 - 667 700 per annum by individual assessment, depending on qualifications in a position as Adviser (SKO1434).
