The Green Office at UiO is a student-driven hub for sustainability initiatives. We organize projects and events that support UiO’s climate and environmental strategy across four focus areas; Climate & Green Campus, Organization, Dissemination & Dialogue and Education & Research.

We are looking for a student who will take the lead on our repair and redesign activities. This is a hands-on and social role where you’ll both organize events and work closely with other Green Office staff.

Your main tasks will be

  • Organize monthly repair and knitting cafés
  • Take care of our “Free Corner”
  • Keep track of sewing machines and materials
  • Start projects that encourage sustainable habits
  • Contribute to events and activities with the Green Office team

What skills are important in this role? 

You don’t need to be a professional—but you should feel comfortable sewing, knitting and enjoy sharing your skills with others.

We think you might be someone who:

· Has experience with sewing, knitting, repair, or redesign

· Likes taking initiative and making ideas happen

· Enjoys meeting people and organizing activities

· Works well both independently and in a team

· Is enrolled in a study program at UiO autumn 2026 and spring 2027

Experience with organizing events or projects is a plus, but not required.
