The Faculty of Nursing and Health (FSH) Sciences educates competent and future-oriented nurses and specialists in health, care and praxis-oriented research. We shall contribute to solving future challenges in health and welfare. The Faculty offers an inter-faculty PhD in Professional Praxis. The faculty for Nursing and Health Sciences has 2,400 students and 200 employees. The professional communities are organised into the following divisions: Nursing, Pharmaceuticals, and Social Education and Mental Health.

About the position

On behalf of the INNOVATEDIGNITY-ITN, The University of Brighton, UK (https://www.brighton.ac.uk) hereby announces the re-advertisement for recruitment of 5 of the Marie Sklodowska-Curie (MSCA) PhD positions (Early Stage Researchers).

INNOVATEDIGNITY-ITN’s consortium is made up of caring science scholars working on experiential perspectives of human dignity, care, and well-being from nine institutions in five European Union countries: Sweden, Denmark, Greece, Norway and the United Kingdom and nine partners in four countries.

ESRs have already been recruited to the UK and Greek universities and the remaining positions for training and secondments are available in: Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

The Norwegian position is at Nord University, Bodø.

The purpose of INNOVATEDIGNITY-ITN funded by the European Commission (2019–2023) is to develop a shared research and training agenda in order to educate the next generation of interdisciplinary health care researchers and care leaders across Europe. The project is a response to the Europe wide need to provide sustainable and dignified care for older people at home and in residential, municipal and hospital settings.
