BI Norwegian Business School (BI), Department of Strategy and Entrepreneurship, is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Professor. This is a tenure track position, 4 years, followed up with an academic evaluation process based on set criteria for publications and teaching. We are looking for a candidate with strong research capabilities, and a promising research pipeline. The ideal candidate should have an ambition to advance the field with publications in top international journals. The candidate should demonstrate, at the minimum, the potential for solid teaching skills.

About the Department
The Department of Strategy and Entrepreneurship is characterized by a dynamic and supportive research culture, with the ambition to impact research and practice both nationally and internationally. Active research areas include value creation, technology strategy, international business, entrepreneurship, innovation, networks and inter-organizational relations, organization design, strategic leadership, collaborative and knowledge-based strategy and competitiveness. The Department of Strategy and Entrepreneurship is well connected internationally, with collaboration projects, weekly research seminars, and presence at leading conferences.
The Department is responsible for programs and courses at all levels (Bachelor, Master of Science, MBA, PhD and Executive Programs) in the fields of Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and offer teaching opportunities at all levels. The school offers attractive opportunities in corporate teaching and managerial development. The Department is currently home to about 40 full-time academic faculty and 15 PhD students.
Requirements
A PhD degree in the social sciences, preferably related to strategy, entrepreneurship or innovation.
A promising research pipeline, including articles in international refereed journals; or manuscripts in later stages of development for such journals
